About Us

The Jessie Rees Foundation was inspired by 12-year-old Jessie Joy Rees, better known as "Jessie". Jessie fought two brain tumors from March 3, 2011, to January 5, 2012. Jessie's Wish to encourage every kid fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up, began her 10-month courageous fight. With compassion in her heart and a mission in mind, Jessie created JoyJars to send encouragement to courageous Kids like her.
