Laguna Ocean Foundation is excited to announce that this year’s
KelpFest is held on World Oceans Day,
Saturday, June 8th! We invite you to celebrate with us along the Cobblestones of Main Beach from
10:00AM to 2:00PM.
Hosted by
Laguna Ocean Foundation with the support of dedicated partner organizations, KelpFest celebrates Laguna Beach’s unique shoreline, our vital coastal resources, and the kelp that supports them. This
FREE festival features music, activities, informational booths, games and art.
Join us for the welcoming ceremony at 10:00AM where Adelia Sandoval, Juaneño Band of Mission Indians/Acjachemen Nation, will provide a blessing for the event. Followed by Assemblymember Diane Dixon who will be making the exciting announcement about the official California State Seashell.
KelpFest is supported by the generous donations of local organizations and businesses which helps keep this event free every year. If you're interested in sponsoring KelpFest, please contact Alayna Ader at alayna@lagunaoceanfoundation.org or click here to learn more about the different levels of sponsorship.
